Just a Little Longer ...

6:00 AM

Hi guys! Whew. It's been ages. I've missed you all!

I regret to inform you that this is just a "Hello, I'm still alive" post. I'm alive and well and writing like crazy because #nano (which I haven't really talked on here about that? July Camp Nano, that is. I need to change that ...)

Believe it or not, I have not been completely blog sleeping the past month. On the chances I had (meaning, when I wasn't at camp or in Minneapolis writing with alllll the frens *cue the happy squealing*) I was actually slaving away with blogging stuff.

Stan is about to receive a huge makeover, and I'm pretty excited. But it's taking me a lot longer than I'd expected it to, and I am gone this weekend on a mini-mission trip with my church. Hence, the Hannah is super behind on just about everything.

SO. Long story short: you will have to wait just a little bit longer for that quarter wrap-up. (don't worry - it's going to be a special one, with wrap-up's and look-to's and probably some more improv poetry no don't run away) I'm going to try to have everything up and running by next week.

I hope all of you are still alive *pokes around* and doing well! Please, let me know how your summer is going! Have you done anything exciting? If you haven't, have your characters?

Talk to me, peeps! I miss you all! *throws coffee beans and chocolate*

Summer is very...cold for me. :P And it's been pretty crazy with Camp Nano and life in general. Good luck with Camp, and have an amazing mini-mission trip! <3

  8. Hey Hannah!

I just found your blog (like 30 seconds ago) and am happy to find that there are more writers out there (lol I always knew they were but idk). Anyway, yes, my characters been doing sort of exciting things. A few nearly died, one did die, and another one has to survive in the jungle by herself (cue sobbing and dramatic music). Anyway, I really like Stan and can't wait to read more.

    1. Hi Abby! I'm sorry it's taken me a while to respond. Blogger is not letting me view the comments on my other pages, so I'll answer your questions here. :)

I'm so glad you found Stan! (if you don't mind me asking, how did you find it? I'm always curious!) And surviving in the jungle by herself- YIKES. Sounds exciting!

But yay for naming things! I have no idea about your laptop. I named mine based on appearance and how I felt about it. Natasha (AKA the Black Widow) is a super awesome kick-butt heroine. So maybe a name that means something to you and makes you think of your stories and other things you love?

  9. Hey, no problem! The blogging app on my phone was acting up last night when I was trying reply to your comment, so I totally get it.

I'm not completely sure how I found Stan...I think I clicked on a follower's profile on a different blog and was scrolling through the other blogs she followed. And then, of course, I saw "Ink Blots and Coffee Stains" and thought "THAT IS A REALLY COOL NAME. IS THAT A WRITER'S BLOG? IT IS!!!" *pterodactyl screeching noises*

I finally decided on a name....Spike. After Spike Scarlatti from Flashpoint, which, by the way, is a super cool show. :D And Spike is my FAVOURITE. He's a funny, smart techie (What would be better to name a laptop after?) LOL

    1. Awww, I love that name! It's super cute :D I've heard of Flashpoint but have never seen it. I almost named my laptop Garcia after the technical analyst in Criminal Minds, but Natasha suited it better XP And dude there are so many amazing writing blogs out there! Have you checked out Go Teen Writers? It's an amazing community <3

  10. I'm in the middle of season four it's so stressful AAUUUUHHH *random fangirling noises*

Yes, I found Go Teen Writers a few weeks ago. (But, I admit, I haven't really been reading it...shame, shame) My best friend is a writer (SHE'S REALLLY GOOOD) and doesn't know about all these cool writing blogs. *sniff sniff* But I SHALL introduce her to my small bloggy world whether she likes it on not (mwahahaha)
